Hi,
I am organizing a construction team in March 24-April 3, 2011 to go to Soloy, Panama. Soloy is a village between Panama City and David, Panama. There are several thousand Guaymi Indians within a few miles walk of Soloy.
Our project will be to build a block school room to the existing four that are there. There have been many teams there to date.
The site has a church, four schools room, two teacher houses, two out houses, one pastor house.
These are located on a mountain top. About 500 yard below the site is a river which we use for bathing if you like.
The main village of Soloy is between the site and the river. This is a place of commerce for the people living in the mountains.
Beyond this point travel is by foot or horse. We can drive to the site.
If you have never been involved on a mission trip, now is the time to make that commitment. It will change your life. This is for any lay person who would like to see the move of God in Soloy, Panama. You do not have to be a Royal Ranger Leader to participate. Boys 14-15 may participate with there legal guardian. Boys 16-17 with a permission slip from legal guardian and insurance forms. Boys 18 and older need no permission slip required. Husbands and wife, fathers and sons, young men and old timers are welcome as well. There is a commitment application form that can be found on the regional website that will need to be filled out and sent to me. The total cost for the trip is $2500.00. More info will be following once I receive your commitment that God will supply a way for you to go on this trip. That is the only way that you will be able to make this trip. Why do I say that, you can ask those whom have been on missions trips. They each have a story to tell of how God supplied every need down to the last penny. Only God!
If you know of anyone else whom you think would be interested, please have them contact me. If you know someone who went on the last trip, contact them and see if they would like to go again and have them contact me.
Again, I hope you will join me on this great adventure for the Lord. If you cannot participate on the trip you can still support the trip with a financial contribution. Please seek Gods direction and see what he will do.
