At the recent Northwest Regional Royal Ranger Seminar held in Yakima WA. We had, a great turn out to honor many of our Regional leaders. Our featured leader was Chuck Staton! Mary was there to speak and serve and fellowship.
We viewed two nice videos of Chuck's life and service to boys and men in the State and Region. Then Randy Wright presented Mary with the National Outstanding Service Award given posthumously. Mary had some nice words to share to the large gathering.
A special offering was given toward the unfinished deck project of Chuck's. More than $1,300 was given and that will be added to several hundred more to help finish the deck and breezeway improvements to the house.
If you would like to give to this important cause.... please send a check to Royal Rangers at Dave Franklin's address. We will get this to Mary's pastor for the project.
Also, Randy is organizing a work party on April 23-25, 2010 to finish the project. WILL YOU PLAN ON BEING THERE? Please contact Randy Wright ASAP and let him know you're coming.
